Gemini club

Located in the heart of Budapest’s city center on Király Street, Gemini Club was an exciting project to develop and a true pleasure to work on. Through close collaboration with the client, we were able to translate their vision into a fully realized spatial experience that captures the atmosphere and energy of a contemporary urban nightclub.
From the moment I first encountered the raw, unfinished shell of the space—with its exposed openings and rustic structural character—it was clear that the project had the potential to evolve into a bold interior environment. The design concept focused on creating a dark, mysterious industrial atmosphere, allowing the raw architectural qualities of the building to become an integral part of the overall identity of the club.
The ground floor, spanning approximately 182 m², serves as the primary social space of the venue. Here visitors encounter the main bar, lounge seating, and an open area designed for dancing and gathering. Above this level, a 64 m² gallery overlooks the main floor and accommodates the VIP section, offering elevated views of the activity below while also housing the administrative office and restroom facilities.
The project was later expanded with the addition of a basement level of approximately 120 m², creating a second, larger dance floor. This lower level introduces an additional bar and supporting amenities, allowing the club to host larger crowds while offering a more immersive nightlife experience.
Throughout the interior, custom-designed wall lighting and integrated illumination elements play a central role in shaping the ambiance of the space, enhancing the club’s moody industrial character. The interior is complemented by furniture pieces from the design brand Dublino, whose contemporary forms and durable materials contribute to both the aesthetic and functional quality of the venue.
The result is a layered nightlife environment where architecture, lighting, and interior design work together to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and energetic—an immersive destination within Budapest’s vibrant nightlife scene.
